Is this a recognized certification?

Definitely. DOFD is one of the globally recognized Foundational DevOps certifications.

What are the system requirements for the online proctored exam?

The examination and proctoring software ExamShield freely available from PeopleCert is required for the exam.

ExamShield is applicable with Windows® 11, Windows® 10 (Windows 10S and Windows 11S is not supported) or MacOS High Sierra (10.13) onwards

Dual-core 2.4GHz CPU or faster with 4GB of RAM

We advise you to save all your work and exit any open programs such as AnyDesk, Skype, MS Teams etc. that could disrupt your exam process

Administrative restrictions on many work machines will affect or can even hinder ExamShield installation and are likely to affect the performance of your computer before or during your exam. We recommend not using a work machine unless your IT department is able to help you set it up well before the exam

Network security policies at work might hinder the function of ExamShield – we recommend that you use a personal private network – and test your network with ExamShield well before the exam
If your Windows PC is not running on the latest version of Windows (Windows 11 or later) you may need to install Webview 2.

Can I get my money back if I fail the exam?

In short, no. However, you have access to all the required material, and it is approved by PeopleCert to be appropriate and adequate for preparing you for the exam.

To get a high confidence level before the exam, read all the main content (except the bonus material), take and retake the section self-assessments and the simulated exam.

You can use the QuizLet flashcards in the Bonus Content section to prepare for the exam, they are all based on the official content, but can't be viewed as actual exam questions.

If you feel insecure about taking the exam, join the included Q&A live zoom sessions - they are included in your purchase - or you can purchase a personal premium coaching session from the academy.

You can also use the Take 2 service from PeopleCert - once you have claimed your exam voucher, there will be an option on the PeopleCert candidate site to purchase an extra attempt at a reduced cost until 15 minutes before your exam. Read more about the Take 2service here.

You can access our all training matierial on a personal computer, smartphone or tablet. Since most of the content inour academy is video based, you will need a stable and free network width reasonable bandwith for video streaming. We use high compression on our videos highly in order to give you the best possible experience.

We use the excellent LearnWorlds Learning Management System (LMS) to build and run our academy. LearnWorlds is optimized for vieweing content on tablets and smartphones via a web browser, but we always recommend using a modern device, since some elements, such as interactive simulations, might require a lot of processor power.

Important: You can't use a tablet or smartphone for the final exam when taking a PeopleCert accredited course, such as PCSM 1 (PeopleCert Scrum Master) or other courses in that same series.

PeopleCert exams involve live online proctoring that simply won't work on a tablet or smarphone. You need to use a laptop or personal computer, and the guidelines from PeopleCert emphaticcaly recommends that you do not use you work computer or network for the final exam, it simply might not work due to restrictions on your device or network
